Our Story
Creekside was founded in January, 2012 by the grandparents of two little girls with autism. As these grandparents became aware of the many challenges involved in raising children with special needs, God placed it upon their hearts to donate the use of their retirement property and funds as a resource for special needs children and their families. Creekside currently provides most services and programs free of charge to families with special needs children. |
Our Mission
Creekside Christian Retreat is a Christ-centered organization equipped to foster and strengthen the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health of those in need. Focusing on special needs and youth at-risk populations and their families, it is the primary mission of Creekside Christian Retreat to provide educational programs, therapy assistance and recreational activities to these populations. Therapeutic outdoor and indoor spaces and materials are also provided to be collectively and collaboratively utilized by educators, clergy, mental health practitioners, volunteers, and other religious, health, and social service entities, in order to facilitate on-site spiritual, vocational, educational, therapeutic and recreational programming for these typically underserved populations.
